Crazy 8 Boutique is an upscale consignment boutique. We strive to meet the needs of all of our consignors and clients. At times, it may be necessary for us to pass on perfectly good items. We do not have the following guidelines to be disrespectful we have them because this is our business model and this is what our clientele is looking for. If your clothing items are not accepted, please do not take it personally. We accept what sells and our shoppers tell us they prefer better brands.

If you have any questions about your items that were not accepted at any time, please feel free to ask us and we will be honest about the reason. If we can recommend another shop that might be able to take them we will. Thank you for your understanding. We accept clothing, handbags, belts, shoes and other wearable accessories. We do not accept lingerie, bathing suits, body suits, wedding gowns or work-out wear. Preference of items will always be given to in season, top designers and most sought after labels and sizes. We accept styles that people are wearing now and in season.

Crazy 8 accepts fashions that are...

• in style.
• on hangers.
• free of wrinkles, snags, stains, odors, pet hair, etc.
• designer name brands, such as shown on the home page
• in season and in demand!
• Less than two years old and in excellent condition.
• Sizes 0-16
  

When to bring in your items?

• You may bring in your items at your convenience during business hours.
• You may bring in any number of items. For many reasons we most likely will not be able to look at your items while you are here. You may leave your items and we will call you to come back for the items we cannot take (or you may choose to have us donate them). Once we call you to pick up the items you will have 48 hours to come back for your items and at that time we will give you an Itemized List of Items we kept for consignment. Due to space limitations, after 48 hours they will be donated (if you do not come back for unaccepted items we will mail your Itemized List to you).

Other Info

• Our consignment period is 60 days.
• Crazy 8 will set the prices on your items based on previous selling history of like items, current trends, demand and current selling price. We will hang your items on store hangers and price each item to sell. Please understand that your items will not sell for the price you bought them for.
• Please note that all items are subject to markdowns and/or sales at any time at the discretion of Crazy 8 Boutique.
• We will provide regular advertising and conduct periodic Sales Promotions.
• You will receive 40% of the selling price minus item fees* and sales tax.
• There is an item fee incurred for each purchase of consigned goods. You will receive 40% of the selling price minus the item fee and sales tax.) Crazy 8 Boutique does not charge annual consignment fees, listing fees, pulling fees, or initial consignment application fees, as do many other resale shops.
• We do offer home pick-up of consignors items. If consignor chooses this option, the consignor will receive 35% of the selling price for items sold by Crazy 8 Boutique.
• If you would like to collect your unsold items, please do so within 48 hrs after expiration date. If you do not reclaim your items, they become the property of Crazy 8 Boutique. There will be no exceptions.
• Items left unsold that become the property of Crazy 8 Boutique can be put in our clearance section for a limited time, packed away for another season, and/or donated to the charity of our choice.
• We adhere to our consignment guidelines so please do not ask any of the staff to deviate from them.
• We will do our BEST to safeguard the consignors merchandise but Crazy 8 Boutique is not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged items.
• Checks will be sent out once per month for any consignor balances over $25.00.
• Any balances less that $25.00, checks will be available for the consignor to pick up on or after the 10th of each month. Consignor may pick up checks Monday through Friday or may use their balance as in store credit and receive 15% off their purchase.
• Any monies not picked up within 60 days of the date the check was issued will be forfeited.
